I was skeptical when we arrived because it seemed like a cute but simple stay compared to what I usually get. But the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They were very patient and considerate. Even after we checked out they helped us.

Room and hotel in general very clean and tidy, breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Location was ideal as we arrived via the port, and the hotel is right next to it. A bit of a trek up the cliffs into Sorrento centre but no big deal if mobile. Taxis also readily available at the port.

Went to the wrong Il Faro first which was a disaster that took a £30 taxi ride to fix. Not even a real entry, but google thinks it is. And watch out. It’s on the port which is at the bottom of the cliff below the town. Lovely location and there is a lift to the top of the cliff.

We were here for a quick night's sleep before catching the ferry to Capri in the morning. Staff was absolutely lovely and helped us with our car. The hotel is located by the marina so not too the main square for shopping and variety of restaurants. It’s a climb up to get to main square or alternatively it’s 2.40 euros for 2 to take a lift up. There are a number of restaurants by the hotel though which were good.Our room was spacious and very clean. Evenings were a bit noisy while we were there in early October. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

The room (406) was small but very clean and perfect for a short mini break. I’m 5ft 3 and I definitely agree with other reviews that the shower is compact but the water pressure is excellent. The pool is a dip pool and was only open from 10am to 6pm so we did not use it as we had booked daily tours. The hotel is in an excellent location for the boat tours as it is situated across the street from the harbour. The lift to the main square and most bus tours is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. My one complaint is that the hotel provide guests who have an early tour with a grab bag for breakfast. We had to meet a tour bus at 7:30 in the main square and despite being advised by the lady on the desk to come down at 06:45 and grab breakfast the gentleman on the desk the next morning informed us we could not get into the breakfast area until 7am and when we informed him what his colleague had told us he simply shrugged his shoulders and said 7.

The hotel is amazing. It has a rooftop bar overlooking the harbor with a pool. The staff is so accommodating. The girl at the front desk called the next place we are staying and set everything up for us. The room was clean and they let us stay at the rooftop bar after check out. Directly in front of you when you come off the ferry. Clean and all the amenities. Never been anywhere that you had to put a key in a slot for electricity so learned something new. Very small elevator only big enough for 2 people and 2 suitcases so it can be busy. Taxi stand just outside in the parking lot. Restaurants just outside, too. Overall just what we needed.
