"Amazing stay, delicious breakfast. Only thing that was out of the ordinary was when checking out all hotel staff was off and no one was there to take the room keys. Gave keys to a worker that was helping fix the hotel remodeling. We were left there alone and no breakfast which was included with room. I received an email at midnight saying to go eat at a hotel nearby and bring them the receipt for breakfast but no one was there. We opted out of that option and just left. "

"The hotel is far away from other tourist places but it was a beautiful hotel on the beach. The food was great, the pool wasn’t too crowded and the drinks were readily available. Only downsides are that the dance club opened up too late and the beds were hard. "

"The hotel is stunning. Great architecture. The restaurant is also very nice. CAUTION - Since it's located in a national reserve, you must be in before 8PM. The forest service will close the gate. I arrived at 8:02PM and the gate was closed. Fortunately one side was open so I went through there. Account for the windy and steep roads. Also, the rain. You will be able to leave until the park open up. After 10PM the front desk closes so you will be dealing with security. Our room faced the volcano which was amazing. The room are spacious and clean. "

"The view was amazing! Lake and windows truly gorgeous. Cool shower, TV with Netflix, interesting capsule rooms. I’d say the private pool is tiny and not really worth it. The property was so fun to walk around, as it had restaurants, mini golf, playground, fruit trees, trampoline, other pools, etc."

"The staff was amazing!!! They were so nice that we decided to go back to this hotel for a second time in the same week! Also breakfast are included and so tasty! We had the king bed which was very comfortable and the pool is big enough to swim and has great temperature. This hotel is a good place to relax and is 10 min away from el tunco if people want to party or surf and 15 min away from san blas a more quiet beach. "

"For foreigners, you have to go 20 minutes down a rock road which runs along the lake. Plenty of options for restaurants along the way. Fairly easy to locate, I would stress that you do not attempt to drive to or from here at night because of the road. The restaurant/bar on site had great food and I ate here each night. Decent alcohol selection. The views are the lake make it worth staying and only a hour or less out from major sites, I used it as my home base. Staff were fantastic "
