"This is a very mixed review: The people were wonderful. The main lobby was nicely done and very clean. I don't know about the rooms in the main building. The grounds appeared nice. I'm not sure what outdoor areas were available to guests (there is a spa but the sign says no public, etc.) A welcome folder would be nice. We stayed in the cottage, which was a very mixed bag. It reminded me of a summer camp cabin that had not been opened for the season. The curtains need attention (and cleaning). The paint could stand to be freshened. There are numerous places in the bathroom where the plaster is simply missing (a very bad look). There is a little walk-out behind the cottage, but it needed to be cleaned to be used, and the fencing around it is rotting down from the top and should be replaced. The building next door appears to be an old garage or tool-shed, not sure which, but the back patio would be more quaint without that being the main view from the back door. Bottom line? It was a bit disappointing, based on pictures and reviews. As travels who have spent a LOT of time in Europe, we don't expect "big" or "fancy" - but some maintenance attention would go a LONG way to making this a more enjoyable location."

"Wonderful visit. Friendliest staff ever and will help you with anything. Free parking is a plus. Breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. Not to mention fresh baked cookies daily along with a reception hour! Our bed was low to floor which may present a problem for some people."

"A wonderful stay at the Inn at Sonoma in every way. The location is the best: close to the Square and it’s activities, to beautiful wineries, excellent restaurants, the diRosa outdoor museum, easy to get to Napa and Copia/CIA, the re-opened Cornerstone gardens, the Sonoma Garden Park, etc. The Inn and rooms are lovely and spacious, easy parking, with a very helpful staff, and we’d go back just for the incredible breakfasts. This was our 2nd stay and we’ll be back again. "
