"A Pleasant Stay, But Honeymoon Expectations Were Not Met Overall, our stay at Jaz Aquaviva was pleasant, and we enjoyed our time at the resort. However, as this was our honeymoon, we expected a more special experience. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide any memorable honeymoon arrangements or special touches, which was a little disappointing. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room was not very effective, and the room temperature was not as comfortable as we expected. The stay was generally nice, but there is room for improvement, especially when it comes to special occasions and guest comfort."

"Brand new Hotel, very clean and with ample and spacious rooms. Beach and sea are at a walking distance. Pools and water games available. Excellent location for families with children. Staff should be more forthcoming. Unfortunately food quality is mediocre in general and really bad at the Italian restaurant and at the fast food in front of the water games. It is impossible to have a decent hamburger, an edible pizza or even good fries. Internet is present but it is not stable. The entertainment team is annoying and pushy, lacking manners as well. On the positive side there are many possible outdoor activities very well organized (horse riding, dune buggies, sea excursions etc). With some management efforts it could really be a fantastic place to stay."

"Great hospitality and friendly staff Very welcoming place Clean rooms with very high standard of service Very helpful reception staff especially Mr Amr who were very helpful in check in/out. Great variety of arabian food especially the fayrooz restaurant. Safe for the kids Lovely sea and large pools This is my second time here and I am sure that it won't be the last."

"We stayed five nights at the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort with my wife and teen daughter in a luxury suite to wrap up our extensive Egypt trip. The room was beautifully furnished with 3 balconies providing 270 degree view. The property’s true strength is its beautiful beach and sunset views. The main shortcomings is a very limited number of restaurants (2) which is rather unusual for such a sprawling resort. All in all, an excellent stay."
