"The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired (specifically in the bathroom). We also checked in and had no running water in our room for over 5 hours before being given a new room. However, the location is top notch-a short walk to the riverwalk without the big price tag of staying directly on it."

"It was a perfect location to the riverwalk! We walked everywhere we wanted to go! The staff was very friendly and the bed was comfy! Only con was the parking was kinda pricey! Over all was great place to stay!"

"The room that I was assigned to smelled horrible like dog urine. The host gave us a smaller room due to the smell. We had to downsize to a smaller room from a suite since the other suite smelled like human urine. "

"We were "upgraded" to a larger interior room, but it was an adjoining room that you could hear every word of someone in the next room. As it was "Fiesta week" they put a group of Gen Z's next to us who kept us up until 3am for 2 nights. After calling security "both nights", they finally checked out. One underage partier bragged about getting into bars the 2nd night because they didn't scrutinize her ID. Full disclosure, the hotel did credit me a $100 and a free breakfast for my "inconvenience". The room was clean, but "very basic"... no microwave (except a shared one in the hallway) and no dresser for a week's stay of clothes. The concierge desk was VERY persistent on getting you to go to a time share presentation. EVERYWHERE on the Riverwalk and the mall, hotels are pressuring people to sign up for a "presentation". They offer Visa cash cards, riverboat rides, carriage rides, SeaWorld tickets, free night stays... anything they can to hook you. The invitations are inundating and everywhere, so beware!"

"I don't always make negative reviews. And overall, the stay met our needs. However, we did have to move rooms. The toilet seat closed when using the bathroom, the riverview was really more of a 2 sided view into the side of the hotel with a glimpse of the river. The hotel was decorated BEAUTFULLY. They charged extra fees not mentioned which cost us $100 extra dollars. They offered on site use vouchers to help with that, but they were never applied to our room. Valet was $70/night and it was a MESS. We were unable to call to get our car pulled around, and were required to come downstairs, along with the entire rest of the hotel checking out. The lobby was packed and we had to wait 40 minutes to even get our vehicle. It wasn't what I would have expected from a hotel priced at this price point."
