"We loved this property! After having another property owner from another site refuse to honor the rental (he double-booked), we found this place at the last minute. The owner and his wife were so gracious and welcoming — and able to get the place ready for us in short order. The apartment is very charming and a lot more spacious than it looks online. "Guest House Kiko was exactly as advertised. Room was clean and host communicated well on how to meet once we arrived. The location was ideal for visiting Mljet National Park (which is just a few steps away) and staying in Pomena with a spectacular view. The restaurant attached had a lot of charm, friendly staff and great food."

"This hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The family that own it are so helpful and kind , they will do everything to accommodate you, with a smile and sincerity that you just don’t find in other hotels. We are coming back in September and look forward to seeing them again. The old time charm of the hotel along with its history are amazing. Highly recommend it !"

"I love it here the beach is impeccable, it’s so serene! The place is clean and staff friendly. The spa is great. I will say I was a little disappointed in that there is no real gym last year there was a little outside gym nothing great but it worked, this year it was total demolished with only one machine standing. Other than that though I love it. Also, while being an Expedia gold member and getting the perk of 20% off the personal RT airport to hotel transfer that’s very convenient however there is an option to save money, there’s a ferry to look up no one told us about that option so I take away points for that but I also don’t mind the convenience of personal travel it just cost significantly more. Of course I’d go again hopefully the gym is upgraded next time."

"The bedroom was spacious and we also had a lovely balcony with views down to the harbour. We were met by our host on arrival and he showed us on a map some places to see in the national park. Due to ferry times, we arrived before the normal check-in time but our room was still ready which was appreciated. The bed was a bit soft but we still managed to sleep well. The window shutters helped to keep it nice and dark too and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchenette was small but well equipped, although we didn't cook that much as the range stocked by the local shop was not that wide! The one downside was the water for showering and washing up which was tepid most of the time. "
