"This hotel did the trick. Needed a cheap place to stay for a quick overnight sports tournament. Definitely could use some maintenance and an older vintage but the beds and bathrooms were clean, breakfast was great and the heated hot tub was a plus. "

"I've stayed at this hotel multiple times in last few years and it is always a good experience. The staff is always nice and helpful, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The only criticism I have would be the lack of an onsite restaurant, but there are restaurants close. "

"Absolutely making this our regular spot when we stay in Carlsbad! Staff were incredibly friendly and had a service attitude. If it wasn’t raining I’m sure you would have caught us at the fire pit or in the hot tub (all the more reason for us to return). The room was aesthetic and SMELLED AND FELT clean! Might have to pester them for what sheets and pillows they use because I’ve never slept better. Such a shame we only stayed one night, I could’ve hung out there all week! Less than a 5 minute...

"I'd call this a cross between hotel and ABB. Room is the size of a hotel but furnished with taste, comfort and modern. Communication is personable and the rooms where clean and very well kept. Attached to a tiki bar, restaurant and stone brewery. Get location to the beach and indoor parking 1 block away. Beach and pier is about 3 blocks away. Great stay!"

"The beach-front room was a huge plus. The rooms were clean but could use some TLC on the finishing items and updates to make it feel much cozier. Check in was super quick and smooth. Hut tub is by reservation only. Overall it was a great bang for our buck and we would stay here again. "

"Excellent location across from the Carlsbad beach with attentive staff. We felt comfortable there and there is a beautiful courtyard with pool and two hot tubs. Nice touch to have a recreation room available until 11 pm. We enjoyed our evening tea. The free parking and continental breakfast was great too. "

"The price was a little high due to me booking on the weekend. But the quality is definitely nice: small modest building on the outside, nice and relaxing accommodations on the inside. Very close to Downtown Oceanside businesses, the Pier, and the train station. No need to worry about parking, just the way I like it. Also, it's very close to a Breeze Bus stop, including the Route 101 that takes you all the way down to UTC in San Diego City. "
