"Never received code to check in. Upon arrival had to call number, owner found us, was very friendly, and got us checked in, The hotel seemed to be one floor on top of a strip mall. We missed it the first drive by. I had reservations at first. No lobby, no amenities. Upon entering the room, we couldn’t have been more surprised. Stayed in a different hotel every night. This was the most spacious and comfortable room. Sitting areas for us so we don’t have to sit on the bed. Coffee maker for pods or tea. Room very clean, bed very comfortable, ocean view a little obscure, but good. Room is not oceanfront. It is ocean view. Area fantastic, charming little walkable village. Great for watching sunset. Restaurant only open 2 hrs for breakfast (not free) so we did not get to it. most disappointing but nothing to do with the hotel about 11 PM, there was a screaming child in the room next to us who continued to scream & cry most of the night, so almost zero sleep. Again nothing to do with the hotel. Our room was fantastic. Loved it and would stay again. Area fabulous. "

"We had a cute little cabin just outside of the main room. It was small but it was all we needed for the one night stay we had. Food was very good. We found the restaurant pricey for breakfast. I can't eat 40 dollars worth of food in the morning and since there were no other options and no mini fridge we had to buy the breakfast. "

"Comfortable stay with a wonderful view in a region that has few options for hotels! Hotel Langaholt was just what we needed after a long day on the road sightseeing. We stayed in the last room on the downstairs floor that overlooked the golf course- it was large with windows on 2 sides, lots of natural light, with a great view! The blackout curtains helped us sleep well. The breakfast was great. If you are a light sleeper be sure to ask for a room away from an exit door."

"Gorgeous ocean view, facing west west so you can see the sunset. Very spacious apartment, it was my daughter’s favorite, with the sofa bed surrounded by books, a telescope to look out to see, and very comfy chairs! The espresso maker took me a while to figure out (had to watch 3 YouTube videos 😝), but once I did, it made beautiful coffee! Very convenient spot to base our 2 day exploration of the Snaefellsness peninsula. Also, it was the only place we stayed at that provided a welcome snack, beer and a little red wine, with a nice welcome note. Very charming. "
