"The room was huge! So much space. Everything was within walking distance. Met some nice travelers from upstairs. I was concerned about the noise from other patrons, but we lucked out. It was quiet. We spent some time up top watching the marina. The bed was soft. This property was a true example of properties in nova scotia. I love old reused buildings as accommodations. I believe this used to be the old digby yacht club house."

"Property was very clean and well maintained. Desk clerk was helpful and welcoming, and the server at breakfast worked extremely hard and obviously enjoyed her work. The property had a nice location with a water view. However, it is dated -- old furniture, old decor, squeaky floors. The staff does a great job with what they have, and it is certainly an acceptable place to stay, but it would be top notch with some upgrading."

"Great location to walk into town, but off the main road. Charming old Victorian. Lovely large room with brand new bathroom and big shower. Covered porch with view of the water. Charming dining room for breakfast and a nice selection of food. Lively pub next door for dinner (but not noisy)."
