"The hotel is in a perfect location on the quayside in the harbour, a few minutes' walk from the train/bus station and just across the road from the city wall and centre. Kalmar Castle is about 20 minutes' walk away.
On arrival we were given a very friendly and warm welcome at the reception. Breakfast, afternoon fika (Swedish coffee + cake) and buffet dinner are all included for all guests.
Our room was charmingly located in the eaves of the hotel, with wooden ceiling beams and lots of character.
Overall this hotel must be one of the most convenient and recommendable in Kalmar."
