"The people who work there are amazing. Every single person. Getting into the heart of Piran may seem challenging because you can’t park in town. No worries. They unload your luggage and take you to your room. The escort you to parking and shuttle you back to the hotel. Upon leaving, they load your luggage and take you back to your vehicle! Such an amazing experience and beautiful hotel."

"The room we stayed in had hair left in the bathroom all on the floor and in the shower. There was ripped hole on our pillow case. Also the spa services were alot harder to book than what was advertised. Overall it's about a 3/5 stars from me."

"Lovely staff, fantastic location, and great breakfast! There's a lot going on in the square, but we didn't have any issues with noise when we were sleeping. The building is beautiful and we loved being able to walk right through town. Also very helpful with parking instructions and made the offsite parking a breeze!! Can't wait to be back!"

"The room was good. The breakfast was very good. We didn’t eat dinner as we preferred to go out to somewhere smaller. The pool was excellent but didn’t use the sauna because it was expensive, I don’t need to spend 3 hours in a sauna. There’s been plenty of hotels were they have been included or cheaper."

"The staff was completely uncaring and unhelpful. There was no ventilation in our room. None at all. When I asked at the front desk I was told someone would take a look at it. When I asked again an hour later they said they called to have it inspected. When we got back from. dinner no one had been there. When I checked again with the front desk (in person since the phone did not work) I was told it was inspected and nothing was wrong. I was told that all of the rooms were the same temperature and it was suggested i sleep with the windows open. There was an obvious error code on the thermostat and all of the other rooms had their patio doors closed so I assumed their climate was working. So I was lied to twice by the front desk. And they were very smug and rude about everything. Even at check in. We have been all over the world in many hotels and have never been treated so poorly. Yes. The pool and location is great but does not even begin to compensate for the staff behavior at the price. This was our sixth visit to Portoroz and I will never stay at this hotel again. There are much better choices."
