Nothing on Hotel.com prepares you for the fact that you need to book in to another hotel's reception nor that when you try to do so the receptionist will deny knowing anything about the procedure. Nor will you know that, when you phone the hotel, they will sigh in exasperation that you cannot speak German and that they will be pretty rude to you. "Hotel Trajan is located on the West side of the bridge while the check-in desk, dining room and parking are located on the East of the bridge. It's a ten minute walk between the two. Trajan is dated but it's clean and located in the middle of Centrum; so it's really convenient. I'd have to say the building is quaint. The doing room is eclectic because you are assigned a seat; well, I wasn't assigned a seat but was shuffled all over. The selection of breakfast food is OK... if you get there late, some of the breakfast goodies are gone and not replenished. All in all, decent value for the money. "
