"Property is older so rooms were small but beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and it was nice not to have to leave the hotel. We found good restaurants for dinner in Breakin ( Red Skye) & Bradford (Claymore) a 10-15 min drive away. Kyleakin is a a good hour to the hikes on the Trotternish Peninsula and 30 min to Portree so you need to plan around that travel time. "

Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper. Staff were really friendly and helpful. "Great hotel! Location isn’t exactly central, but there’s a bus stop right by the hotel, or it’s about a 15 minute drive to Portree. Plenty of trails and things to see within walking distance of the hotel too. Clean room, renovated bathroom, good food at the breakfast buffet and restaurant beside. The staff is really kind and helpful, I felt that they truly do their best to make each guest feel welcomed/cared for. I suppose the only downside is the wifi connection/data connection can be wonky due to the weather, but that’s just the case for Isle of Skye in general. If you’re staying in Isle of Skye I’d definitely recommend staying here! "
