"I was just out of luck, that’s all. Their system messed up my dates. Then room I was sent to was dirty. Then I was downgraded to a smaller room that was clean and available ( yet smaller and cheaper than I paid for). And on top of all, someone before me smoked in a room ( I don’t smoke). Good thing about the place - it’s in safe neighborhood as accommodation I stayed on Friday downtown Skopje, my car was broken into and my very expensive shoes and sample case got stolen. "Lots of choice on the breakfast buffet though would have liked a bigger selection of fresh fruit. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food in the Skybar is excellent. The room was clean and we had a great view. Our shower was huge! Also check out the Finnish sauna which was awesome. The hotel is on a hill and it’s a bit of a walk into town but we love to walk so no problem for us. It’s cheap to get a cab if walking is an issue. "

"The amenities were exceptional for the price. Kitchen was clean and featured everything one would need, the bed was comfy, tv was really good. The location is excellent -you can go everywhere on foot."

"Staff was very nice and tried to help. The reason for 2 stars is for the temperature of the room was 25-26 C. It was way too hot to be comfortable and was unable to sleep because of the temperature. Asked many times to fix it or change rooms, neither of which happened. The entire hotel also smelled like cigarette smoke. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. "
