"Our welcome was super friendly, Our room spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. At breakfast we were also met by friendly helpful staff. Breakfast itself was excellent, as much as you wanted and such a choice. On our departure day our transport home was late afternoon but there was no problem leaving our cases at reception meaning we didn’t have to carry them round all day. The location of the hotel was the best for a sightseeing trip to York - Thankyou"

"The hotel was in a great location, near the city center with the major attractions within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size. Breakfast was included with our package and was excellent with a good variety of items offered."

"Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing, I liked how you could still order add ons such as poached eggs or porridge, we'd probably go just for the breakfast. Our room was spotless, and the hotel itself was also. I think the only thing for us was, the rooms could have a tiny bit more security as it's still a hotel which had normal lock and keys on each door"
