"Great choice overall , loved the location, amenities, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was excellent, and the restaurant Flow was a real highlight, the kind of place you could easily spend all day in. A few small things held it back from perfect: room layout could be improved (no plugs near the mirror for hair/makeup, limited counter space around the sink), and pool-area privacy was disrupted by gardeners cleaning during the day. Room service options felt limited and skewed heavy/fried , more variety would help, especially for warmer weather. The minibar fridge also wasn’t cooling properly, so drinks weren’t cold. There were rubbish behind the pool which could have easily been removed when pool is cleaned too. None of these are major issues, but fixing them would make a great stay even better."

Hotel Contessina

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"Lovely hotel, clean rooms. Fantastic clean beach shallow waters ideal for the family. Pool is great. The stand out feature is the staff, at the restaurant and pool bar. They work very hard and are very attentive. The food was a high standard. It is a quiet part of the island so great for relaxing. I would recommend"

"The hotel was in a great location it was peaceful right by the sea . The staff were really lovely and helpful . Ionna and Joanna were especially amazing . The down side if you have issues with mobility it probably is not good as there are lots of steps , the only other downside is the food , not much choice and much as a same each night . But I would give this hotel 4 out of 5"

"Very nice experience at Elegance with amazing staff and very helpful Manager. She was attending all requests by herself. The rooms were very large and super clean and the service was excellent. Big thanks to the manager and the staffs and special thanks to the barman at the pool. Looking forward to repeating the experience at Elegance Luxury Executive Suites. George Harb"

"Great family run hotel in a great location. Rooms have been recently renovated so modern, fresh, clean. I stay in lots of hotels with work and the one thing this place has done better than most is the noise proofing. Obviously it’s not silent but with the typical Greek island noise outside you don’t really hear it so well done. Breakfast is more than enough. Hot and cold items, fruit, yoghurt, pastries. Pool area is good for the hotel size, can run out of loungers occasionally but still enough room to sit on tables and chairs and room is never far away. Staff are all very friendly. The only thing that’s missing is a no room service tag to hang on the door. Saves them disturbing you when you are trying to have a lie in. Would stay again."
