"My room was clean and tidy. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The spa was wonderful and the Mountain view made the whole trip worth it. Breath taking views from the balcony and the cleanest most crisp air I’ve ever breathed. "

"Hôtel parfait pour les enfants - Kids Club, chèvres et poules, jardin potager, plusieurs aires pour les petits, deux piscines et même un mini spa pour eux - bref, le paradis des petits. L’endroit est remarcable aussi en hiver et à l’été. Cela décharge aussi les parents. Le principal bémol, est la literie - matelas trop mous et déformés. Oreillers à changer aussi (de plumes mais très souples). Côté nourriture, très correcte. Pas trop de choix, mais qualitatif et toujours avec des options...

"We stayed at Hotel der Bar for 4 nights for a wedding. The hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had friends at different hotels in Ellmau but ours was the nicest of the bunch. We would definitely come back and stay here and would recommend it. We stayed in the junior suite with panoramic views. We would recommend spending a little more for this view....which is spectacular!"

"Everything was very good except that our ac did not work. It was a nice day and cool night so it was OK. Parking is excellent, breakfast was good, and the people are helpful and nice. Very modern and clean."

"The location was in a small alpine village with stunning views. There were walks from the door and easy access to cable cars for mountain walks and lakes. The hotel was immaculate and inkeeping with local tradition. The service was excellent and staff went above and beyond, even providing us with a breakfast bag on our departure day. There is a restaurant on site which served traditional german food which again was amazing."
