Ruby Molly Hotel Dublin by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"I enjoyed my stay! Breakfast is excellent, room very comfortable, and the lobby a beautiful place to hang. Location is OK, short walk to city center. At night it didn’t feel the safest: nothing really threatening, just dark and you might encounter one or the other gentleman who had too much to drink. I didn’t mind but if you’re travelling alone and are apprehensive with this kind of thing it might not be the best fit."

"Check in/Check out was quick and easy. The rooms were mostly clean. Wonderful view of the city. Laundry was overpriced (priced by individual items/not by weight) and no option nearby for self service which was a unexpected large charge. The thermostat does not get very cold/no fan. 19c minimum. Which was ok once adjusted but the room warmed up easily during the heatwave. We didn't enjoy breakfast or other amenities, by choice so no opinion. Staff was helpful and friendly. And housekeeping kept the room tidy and stocked while we were out. Heads up: Very quiet area, most things to do are a 10-15 minute walk minimum."

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport

"The hotel was nice and the beds were comfortable. We paid extra when we booked the room for the breakfast and it was very good with many options. When we took the Clayton shuttle from the airport to the hotel we ended up at the wrong Clayton hotel. One shuttle says Clayton Hotel Airport and the other says Clayton Hotel Airport Central. We were not the only ones on the shuttle that went to the wrong Clayton Hotel. We were told this is a common occurrence. We had to go back to the airport and find the correct Clayton Airport Shuttle."

"The room and hotel itself were very clean, which was lovely. The option to include a breakfast buffet in your stay was very welcome for my 15 year old son! We couldn’t change the temperature in our room ourselves, so found it to be either too cold or too hot— granted there was a heatwave during our stay. The bathroom door handle kept coming off and the mattresses were dippy and uncomfortable. The front desk staff were kind and lovely. The staff in the restaurant, while kind, weren’t great at checking in with you or quick to bring over the bill— if eating there for lunch or dinner. Breakfast options were good and they give you a wide window to have it. We were unable to utilize it 3 of our mornings, because we left before 7AM, so I question whether it was worth it in the end for us. Due to the cleanliness of the hotel and the kind staff, I would recommend."
