"It was a wonderful experience at El Greco. The owners were very helpful, caring and provided the best of their facilities. My room was on the 2nd floor, spacious and neat. You get an excellent view of Patmos from here, both sea and land. I won the company of the owner's pet cat and dog as well. It was a memorable time."

"Asteri hotel is a welcoming family-run hotel which is located 10-15 on foot from the centre of Scala. The owners are there to accommodate your needs and make you feel at home. The room was spacious and the balcony had a spectacular view towards Chita and the castle. The garden looked like a small paradise. The hotel was clean and well maintained although the room could be renovated to include more modern amenities. They gave us free breakfast which was so kind of them, however there were not many options, especially for vegan travellers like me. Overall it was a great stay and I’d be happy to return!"
