Parking right outside, lovely clean spacious rooms with such comfortable beds, and even though it is in the middle of everything it is quiet so you get a good nights sleep. If you are looking for quaint little mom and pop type accommodation, then you will want to go a different direction. You can walk to most all attractions Berat has to offer from this location. "
"We had a great time at Te Gjyshi. Located right by the fort and owned by the restaurant, with the same name, that has a long history of serving guests in Berat. The place was newly renovated and the views were better than shown in the pictures.
Restaurant served delicious Albanian cuisine and you received a discount for being a hotel guest. For breakfast you didnt get a choice to choose qhat you would like but what they served was again delicious.
We especially loved how close we were to the fortress, and the old town was a short distance down hill. Going uphill after a day of exploring is a bit of a work out but manageable.
Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely come back. "
