The staff do just enough but not over. It’s a hotel that accommodates a lot of airline crew so there were a lot of check in activities on most days. It’s all fine once we get to the room though- there is peace and quiet. The pool isn’t big and there were a lot of kids around.

The Jen Tangling is great. You litterally cross a side road and you are at the MRT Station. There is a shopping mall attached to the hotel which has everything you might need, Pharmacy, supermarket, quite a few places to eat. A 7 eleven store, alsorts of shops. The hotel is very quiet and clean, has a good restaurant, a bar, acoffee shop and a great club lounge. Plenty of variety, food good staff great. We would certainly come back again.

Found this hotel was great rooms and good location but there was no friendly greeting or staff seemed to care about you we stayed for few days and thought it was bad day but didn’t get any better Rooms were cleaned early which ment you had to get up and go if you wanted room doing even with no disturb sign they woke you Having arrived from uk our body clocks were on difernt times so we wanted to sleep in and this didn’t happen as we was woken each day Hotel was not cheap so expected a better service Breakfast was caotic also We wouldn’t return to this location but there other hotels are much better

The convenience of the MRT is helpful to get around. The staff was quick to answer my questions. The Jen’s kitchen Togo is my favorite area in the morning for drinks. Hotel is connected to Tanglin Mall which was a plus for shopping neccesities

Excellent hotel and our stay at JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La was great. The concierge Mr. Bayani and all the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located across the Orchard Boulevard MRT station. Loved the city and the hotel and we will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Singapore.
