Glad I did the online check-in and got the keys after waiting around 20 minutes in the queue. No fault of the hotel for the long queue. Our room was located on the high floor, decent and clean, though dated with an old TV. The bathroom came with a tub, a little compact but did the basics for a relaxing soak. The swimming pool was quite small. The gym looked in excellent condition. The breakfast buffet was extremely busy, we were directed to have ours at Level 2. Even though many Covid restrictions have been lifted, I felt hand sanitisers should have been placed around the food stations for visitors to sanitise their hands before picking up the serving wares. Walking distance to quite a handful of popular spots. Will be very convenient when the new stations are operational sometime end of 2022.

On arrival at the hotel there was no doorman to help with luggage from the taxi or to guide us to reception for the club facilities. Our club room was at the end of the corridor overlooking a building site whereas we were expecting a bay view, admittedly we could see the sea if we looked obliquely through our window and through the gaps in other buildings. Evening cocktails were pleasant thanks to Jennifer a staff member who was excellent. No matter what time of day you walk the corridors of the hotel expect to have to navigate through carts of dirty laundry and cleaning carts left by the house staff. Hotel is in a nice location with lovely river walks.

We got waterfront view which was nice!The staff were helpful but it took longer time to check out; they should have one line for checkin and one for checkout. The room was good size and breakfast was good too; however, there was sewage smell came from the bathroom.

Staff are very friendly and helpful however the hotel is quite dated. Most fixtures in room are very old. Some even been broken. There is a swimming pool but no steam room or sauna. If the hotel could look at each room and get them renovated that will be much better.

The hotel is tired and dirty Staff were forgetful and you had to call twice for things The buffet food was cold even at peak times Our room had mouldy ceiling and the windows internally were not clean from previous guests obviously a small child The carpet upon exiting the lift in the common areas was so filthy I don’t know how one can even look at it … The location is ok but I wouldn’t eat in the hotel as plenty of options around.I will not be returning
