Great for an overnight stay before an early flight. Staff were pleasant, room was clean, food from the bar was tasty and came quickly despite it being really busy. I would stay again if flying from Newcastle.

Langley Castle Hotel
Breakfast felt rushed (all items brought to the table at the same time). Staff were pleasant. Furniture and decor in the room looking a little tired. Beautiful surrounding area. Castle and grounds are lovely, quiet and relaxing.

Swallow Cottage
Swallow Cottage is in a great location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and very clean cottage. The owner was fabulous when we had a small issue and responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again

Beautiful, warm & cosy cottage with everything there that you need. A lovely woodburner in the lounge, kept us warm & toastie. Very spacious accommodation, very clean.
