The staff were great and they were also able to organize all the activities I wanted on the spot like local fishing and sunset sailing. "My stay at Cactus Lodge was heavenly. My first time traveling alone from the US (New York), I am so glad I booked my stay here. The place hidden in plain sight, opening up the gate to a gorgeous beach vibe. The hotel rooms were very clean, spacious and well air conditioned. Hot water was almost immediate as you turn it on. It was so easy to confirm excursions through the owner/staff and it is very close to all the nightlife. All of the staff were amazing also. So kind, they made me feel so safe....

"Die Kissen und Matratze waren extrem schmutzig und für mich gibt es einfach nichts schlimmeres! Ich war in 4 Hotels auf Zanzibar und das war mit abstand das schlechteste Frühstück. Morgens wusste ich einfach nicht was essen.Das einzige Positive war, das es 3 min. Gehweg zum Strand war, aber man wurde in diesen 3 min. von ca. 10 verschiedenen Verkäufer belästig. Was der Inhaber von diesem Hotel angeht, er sollte wissen, das sklavisches Verhalten gegenüber seinen Mitarbeiter einfach nur respektlos...
