. I found the Prospector and hit "book" the day before I was to arrive. There weren't many options in Silverton, in fact this is the only one I could find on such short notice. When I actually saw the property I wasn't super impressed and wondered what it was gonna be like inside. I gotta tell you like my momma did "don't judge a book by its cover". "The lodge is more like a hostel in that the bathroom and shower is down the hall from your room. However you have your own private bathroom and shower which are keyed to your room. Be careful not to leave your key in the bathroom or shower since those doors lock without using a key. Overall very clean and comfortable. There are no staff at the desk. It is managed by staff at another motel"

Staff was not able to replace coffee maker with a working one. Conveniece store was very sparsely stocked- didnt even have bandaids. Really the hotel worked fine for our needs, we were happy to be able to have our
