hotel is a bit run down but the hotel is extremely quiet, great black out curtains and good breakfast in the am. They seem to be in perpetual construction and we had limited hot water for showers because of the construction. However the staff was excellent and kind, comfortable mattress and room temp.

From the staff member who checked me in, the amazing hostess/waitress during breakfast, the cool servers/bartenders from the restaurant and the staff member who checked me out... Our ground level courtyard room had a lovely walk out sliding door onto the grassy yard. The building was nice except the construction going on in the lobby made check in very loud and awkward. They made up for it with fresh cookies so no love lost 💕🍪

The property was currently under construction and understaffed, but that didnt stop the staff from being completely professional. I stayed at this hotel for two nights and ran into a major issue with ants in the room. The first night, after leaving some food on the table for a few hours, I came back to find a large trail of ants going back and forth to it. I cleaned everything up and thought it was handled, but the next day the same thing happened again near my laptop and desktop. On top of that, the subfloor by the balcony felt soft and squishy, like it was rotting. The location is nice, but the building is clearly older and has a serious bug problem that needs attention.
