"We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after. "

Our hosts were very helpful, arranging transportation to the World Heritage Sites and a local dance presentation. Hosts will prepare breakfasts and dinners. The dinners we ate there were excellent. "We booked this hotel for one night with breakfast included. The hotel overlooks Sigiriya Rock and is in a very nice location. Breakfast started at 7am and after eating we left for Sigiriya Rock at 8am. As it was a weekday, we were able to get to the top while it was still relatively empty. By the time we got off the summit, there were quite a few more people, so we were glad we left early. If you can afford it, you might be able to climb before breakfast.
