"The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean and well equipped. The walk to the main piazza is about 15-20 mins but it’s safe to walk. Only thing is the walls are “thin”. You hear everything next door and that was an issue for us."

"I cannot praise the Borgo Grondaie enough. The staff were excellent, couldn't be more personable and helpful. The place was quiet and restful. The pool was excellent. This is just the place to stay for a restful stay in Siena. Siena centre is a short walk away using the escalators nearby. The gardens are beautiful and well kept."

"Very convenient. A small property and very difficult to follow instructions as to how to drive there. Reception were very helpful in sorting it out. Breakfast in next door hotel but we didnt know , had to find it. Good."

"Perfect location for day trips because it is a three minute walk to the train station, which is part of a mall with a big supermarket. The breakfast is wonderful, and the breakfast staff is friendly and kind. Our room was clean and modern with crisp linen. We would stay at Hotel Italia again. "
