What really stood out during my stay was the wonderful care I received from the manager Sokea. She took time out of her schedule to sit down and give me a bunch of great advice which saved me a lot of time and money. That kind of personal interest and care of guests is unfortunately to very common now a days.
The biggest asset of the Villa is it's amazing manager Sokea. She would go to the Moon and back to help. The Villa itself is beautiful, has a pleasant pool. I really appreciate complete darkness at night in the room. Some details like the sunbeds are ripe for renewal. Far from centre means you need to travel there, compensated by silence at night. The Villa has basically no facilities, so if you are looking for entertainment, food etc. during your stay at the hotel, not here.
Last small note: the breakfast coffee is awful and should be replaced by fresh Cambodian coffee. Expell Nescafé from Asia!!!
It was about a block or two away from the main road so it was pretty quiet. I was greeted from the outside as soon as I got there and was led into the "lobby". The house itself was impressive in its character. Ended up staying on the top floor where there were two double beds. There were a couple of doors to access the wraparound balcony that provided a great view. Because it was a house and not necessarily a hotel, I had to climb up the flight of stairs to get there. Not a problem for me since my luggage was a large carryon suitcase. The bathroom that I got was very spacious with a separate tub and shower. There wasn't hot water, but it didn't bother me too much. Overall, the service was good, and the staff was great The value of the experience exceeded what I paid for (which was reasonable). Will recommend.
