"Such a relaxed stay. All the staff were so helpful and friendly - reception, breakfast, housekeeping. Our flight was cancelled and the hotel gave us the same rooms for an extra night without any fuss."

"The hotel staff are efficient, welcoming and resourceful. Property could use an update, especially carpets in rooms. Hairdryer was sticky, scratched terribly and should be replaced!! Location is walkable to stores, restaurants, museums, galleries and the cathedral, which is fantastic."

"Das Hotel hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Man bezahlt etwas mehr als anderswo, bekommt allerdings auch etwas dafür. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rhein hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und auch ruhig, wenn nicht gerade auf dem Flur von anderen Gästen die Türen laut geknallt werden. Im Hotel wurden gerade Zimmer in einem anderen Flur renoviert, das hat nicht gestört. (Vor dem Fahrstuhl lag diverses Baumaterial herum.) Das Schwimmbecken hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war ausreichend groß und es gab genügend Liegen dort. Am Frühstücksbuffet hatten wir wirklich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen, es war sehr reichhaltig und sehr vielfältig. Beim Frühstück und auch sonst immer war das Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"We were chased out of the room! While the front of house staff were kind and helpful, the room was a big disappointment. We were given a room lacking adequate facilities; no kettle, fridge or cups/glasses. The room had stains on the wall near the headboard and behind the nightstand, stained carpets, bedding which had hairs, and a very small and tight bathroom with poor drainage. There were only two plug sockets, one of which was hidden: one by the door which we found useless as anything we plugged in became a tripping hazard when entering the room & the other used for the none functioning TV. There was no view and looked out onto another roof and wall. As there was no fridge, we resorted to storing our food outside on the windowsill to keep it from perishing. On the morning of our check out, we were corralled out unceremoniously by the cleaning staff who entered with little warning. Although our booking indicated the checkout time as 11am, they insisted it was incorrect and wouldn't grant us any longer than 10 minutes to leave the room."
