"My experience at this property was quite disappointing. When I arrived, the room was not ready, which was inconvenient after a long journey. Unfortunately, the cleanliness standards were also not up to expectations — the washroom was dirty, there were used bedsheets, and even the towels provided were unclean. Basic amenities were missing as well. There was no drinking water or even a glass in the room, and I had to repeatedly request the staff for essentials, which should ideally be provided without asking. Overall, the stay lacked comfort and basic hygiene standards. I would recommend the management improve their housekeeping and ensure rooms are properly prepared before guest check-in. This would make a big difference in guest experience."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ananda Castle Vrindavan. Everything was really good—the rooms were clean, the staff was polite and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful. A special thanks to Manish and Rizwan at the reception, who were extremely helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant staff was also very nice and attentive. It truly made my visit more special and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"I booked a hotel through Expedia, but when I arrived, the hotel staff said there was no reservation under my name. I showed them my confirmation email, but they claimed the hotel was fully booked and that Expedia had made a mistake. It wasn’t just me — two other customers who had also booked through Expedia and Agoda faced the same issue. The hotel staff behaved aggressively toward me, and one of the other guests even had to call the police. Even after the police arrived, none of us were given rooms. The hotel staff kept blaming Expedia for the mistake. This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope Expedia investigates this issue seriously and ensures such incidents don’t happen to other customers."

"I had one of the worst experiences booking a hotel through Expedia. The person handling the booking forced me to pay a 40% advance, calling me repeatedly and rushing me to pay, without even confirming the hotel facilities. He claimed there were limited rooms available, so I trusted him and paid. I made my booking about 10 hours before arrival, but even after that, he kept making excuses and misleading me. When I reached the railway station, I called him twice, and he said there were “drainage issues” in the hotel and that he would arrange another room in a different hotel within 10–15 minutes — which was a complete lie. When I reached the actual hotel, the staff told me that the person had been calling them, begging for any available room, but everything was already full due to heavy rush. The hotel staff themselves confirmed that they couldn’t accept any more bookings. The worst part was that I was traveling with my friend, she was not feeling well. It was midnight, and we were carrying our bags, wandering from place to place in the streets, trying to find a room. It was a horrible and stressful experience. we were exhausted and even cried out of frustration. I strongly advise everyone not to trust this booking process or this person. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and insensitive to travelers’ situations. "

I booked this hotel for ₹3600 with the option to pay at the property, but the hotel contacted me asking for a 30% advance deposit to confirm the booking. I made the payment, but upon arrival, I was shocked to find that there was no proper hotel—just a few rooms inside another building. The place did not match the description or photos on Expedia. I did not stay there. The service and facilities were far below expectations for the price charged. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, and I strongly feel this property should be reviewed or removed from Expedia’s listings to prevent others from facing a similar experience."

"I love the Nikunj Ashram. It is my go-to place to stay in Vrindavan. Excellent location with all basic needs met. They are in the middle of renovations and cant wait to see the end result. This is perfect for those who want a good place to sleep and are trying to go out to see Vrindavan and the surrounding areas. I would recommend it for those who want a affordable spot next to Krishna Balaram temple. Especially for those trying to catch Mangala Aarti. The one thing preventing a full five stars is around the cleanliness of the space; particularly the walls. I noticed a lot of stains on the wall that have accumulated over time. A little time, effort, and a cloth could go a long way to showing care for the building. Will likely return here if I find myself back in the heart of Vrindavan!"
