"Had a great stay at our hotel in Nipponbashi. The place is very clean and simple, but it provided exactly what we needed — a comfortable and tidy place to rest. The breakfast was a convenient way to start the day. The food is frozen, but there is a microwave and a nice dining area where you can heat it up and enjoy your meal. The self check-in and check-out process was very easy and convenient. If you ever need help, a staff member is available and will come out to assist you. We also appreciated the fresh towels left by the door every day when we placed the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign outside. The location is another big plus — it’s very close to the train station, just about a 5-minute walk to the Kyoto day tour meet-up point, and also close to the action at Dotonbori. Overall, it was a very convenient and pleasant stay. If I come back to Osaka, I would definitely stay here again.😍"

"Small room for 3 girls and their luggage. But great service. Level 9 has a room where you access bar snacks, Starbucks coffee with syrups, tea, craft beers and juice. They call it their lounge. But it’s really just a room. It’s unlimited and free for your stay if you get the upgrade "

"Our New Otani stay was comfortable and memorable. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. The front staff spoke perfect English making it easy for us to express any needs or have questions answered. Although we were in an older portion of the New Otani (renovations were being conducted), the room was spacious and well appointment for our stay. The view from our room included a clear view of Osaka Castle' which is a 10 minute walk away. We would definitely stay at The New Otani when we're in Osaka."

"It was also very convenient that the hotel elevator connected directly to the shopping center. By taking the escalator, I could easily reach Uniqlo, MUJI, and Starbucks without going outside, which was especially convenient."
