"Wonderful stay. The room is beautiful, impeccably clean, and although compact, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bedding, nice lighting. Great location. The lobby downstairs is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of work areas and even a lovely garden. The staff were amazing both the reception team and the maintenance person went above and beyond, even helping us fix my son’s buggy after it got squeezed on a bus. Truly appreciated their kindness. "Disappointing overall experience compared to other hotels in this chain. Check in experience was poor as my wife was denied room access before I arrived despite messaging in advance to explain she would be there first. Reception staff were rude in handling this situation. The rooms are clearly minor refurbs from the hotels previous exeistence and lack the quality and flair of the Edinburgh and (sadly now non existent) Glasgow hotels. Bathrooms in particular are dated Overall a pretty flat experience from a brand that promises more. "
