"Upon arrival there was trash and throw up on the ground walking into the hotel. Staff was polite during check in. The view from our room was a shipping container and dirty parking lot. It’s an old dirty hotel. Don’t let them trick you into some river view. It’s foul."

"This little hotel is an absolute hidden gem in Petaluma…so charming and thoughtfully done. The staff were outstanding: warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I’m really glad I discovered this place, and it will definitely be my go-to whenever I’m in town. It’s conveniently located near downtown, close enough for a pleasant walk, and set in a lovely neighborhood with cute local shops. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor space; it’s such a cozy spot to relax, whether you’re unwinding with a glass of wine or enjoying a quiet coffee."

"This was such a pleasant experience for me. After having terrible luck at any places I’ve stayed at over the last couple years, it was a treat to stay here. I felt safe and the place was clean and maintained. It didn’t have the “weekly motel” vibe I had experienced at other places. I also didn’t smell cigarettes which was so nice. I didn’t have to worry about anyone thinking I was one of the “ladies of the night” as in other places I’ve stayed. No late night partying with excessive noise and fighting…. No excessive tweaked activity. To me, this was a 5 star vacation place and I will always book here when I’m in the area. I also enjoyed the turn down service which I hadn’t experienced before. The housekeepers made sure my snuggle blanket was taken care of and always placed so nicely on the bed when they re-made it."

"Beautiful!!! After flying several hours from Pensacola into San Fransisco, renting a car at the airport, 2.5 hours of horrible stop and go traffic driving to the USCG TRACEN Petaluma unable to take in all of the beautiful wildflowers, flowering shrubs and massive succulents along the way because the traffic sucked that bad, checking into Hotel Petaluma was an absolute breath of fresh air!!! The reception ladies were so sweet and helpful. The attached restaurant The Shuckery was perfect! My Coastie kid was graduating Culinary A-School the next morning. It was nice to see and hear about and experience the importance of Farm-to-Table in the local area. Quick easy drive from the hotel to base. Super cute older historic building in an historic area. Very pretty! No hotel parking but I parked right across the street with no issues at all, very safe area. Very quiet and comfortable nights rest. Elevator stops at thr 4th floor, walking the 10 steps up a cute stairwell to the 5th floor does not bother me whatsoever. But if stairs could be an issue, just make sure to let them know in advance. Easy breezy and beautiful!"
