"From the warm welcome from Vernesha to the beautiful music played by the saxophonist and keyboard player, the personalized note and cookie at turndown, Zemi was a moment. We loved every bit of it and will return."
"It is cozy small, no kids crowds screaming and running around, very few people usually on the beach.
Also pleasantly secluded with the downside of 30 mins drive to most places of interest in downtown.
Beachfront bungalows - absolutely awesome, nice calming interior, all the amenities are there for you.
My recommendations to myself for next visit to Anguilla:
- definitely stay at Shoal Bay Villas.
- rename Anguilla to "Reservations Island" - book everything in advance: ferries, cars, experiences, trips.
- bring 6 lbs of meat: they call Anguilla "culinary capital of the Caribbean" - in fact, nothing is far from the truth, their "cuisine" is naive, way overpriced, tastes like cardboard, with exceptions of few astronomical priced upscale places (still naive though)."
"Had to go to Anguilla for work. Needed to be close to the airport. Had a wonderful experience. Rooms were spotless, the chef was humorous and polite. And the front desk associate was very sweet. I’d def recommend. Thank you for your hospitality!"
"We stayed at Coralito Bay at the end of July 2026 for our anniversary. What a wonderful place! I almost hate to write a good review because I want to keep this place our little secret. :) The apartment was better than we imaged - large, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and it was super peaceful! Having access to laundry facilities was also a huge game-changer! The location was ideal as it didn't take us long to get anywhere on island. Ivor was friendly and helpful with many recommendations for restaurants, shops and beaches. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds and waves - and nothing else! Truly a place to get away from the daily grind. In the evenings, we would sit out on the balcony and watch the lights on St. Martin. The gentlemen who landscape the property were so friendly, and one gave us fresh coconuts from the tree so we could drink the water - what a great way to start a morning! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and hope to come back!"
"The staff went above and beyond to help us after we had some travel difficulties which made us initially miss our stay. Patricia and the whole staff are amazing. They helped us with reservations for restaurants, taxis, and boats. The resort is obviously top notch, but the staff is what makes this place really shine. Very thankful for the hospitality shown to my wife and I from everyone we worked with."
