"This hotel is fairly old-fashioned, but that’s what makes it unique. Despite the fairly decent condition of the room and the smell of smoke, it was alright. The con is we have to walk uphill to the bus terminal. "
"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"
"Absolutely unique experience. If you want a fancy western style hotel, don’t stay here. If you want to have a genuinely Japanese experience, in an absolutely stunning area with some of the best snow I have seen in my lifetime, then add Kumanoyo to your list. Personally, I loved this place. "
"among the beautiful onsen it have there is only one onsen that you can bond your loved one or family with a beautiful scenery and that’s unique and fantastic."
"La habitación es tradicional y limpia, y el servicio es correcto. El personal no entiende el inglés y fue algo difícil entendernos, pero se esforzaron para hacerse entender. Algunos de los malentendidos que tuvimos fue que no servían en la habitación, sinó que tienen un comedor y te llaman por teléfono para avisar que ya puedes ir al comedor para comer.
Otro aspecto a comentar es que no todos los gastos de la habitación se reflejan en la reserva, sinó que hay un gasto extra para el uso de la...
"Staff was super friendly. They took us to the ski gear rental shop and back again to return the stuff. Their English was ok, enough to explain what buses to take, recommend pistes, etc. We even received a small gift when leaving. I recommend reserving the 3 meal course."

"Many hot springs around. Need your own transport to get around. Went off season so maybe the dining options were limited.
Good place to unwind though."

"Me and my family had a lovley stay here, however I so have one complaint. The inages showed the hotel being right next to the yubatake place, but it was actually a bit of a walk from there. They sid provide a "
"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom. The we enjoyed our private onsen. Very relaxing. Highly recommend. Some tips. Don't walk in the hotel with your shoes or sneakers. There are sandals that you can walk outside the streets with. It's located in the lockers with the keys when you entered the hotel. If you want to walk around the hotel you can walk with your socks or the staff can you give a sandals. Breakfast is a buffet. Limited selections, and you have to make a time slot rsvp. They bar closed around 10pm. We loved our one night stayed. We would come back again!"
"One of the best place to experience outdoor onsen at 1800m up in the mountain. Not a lot to do outside winter season if you do not drive. The surrounding is beautiful and an hour drive away from the Snow Monkey Park."
