Absolutely huge room for two people. Breakfast and dinner were a high price and for good reason. They were plentiful with food and so well made.
This property is easily one of the best places I've ever been to. Incredible onsen, clean rooms, huge shower, comfortable couch.
I cannot reccomend it enough. We stayed 4 nights and it was exceptional.
The amenities were truly excellent--free tea/coffee, yogurt drink (in morning), popsicles (afternoon/evening), soba noodles (late night snack). The onsen was also very nice. The room was excellent overall, although the room I was in had some sort of pungent odor that was not from the tatami or anything readily visible.
This was one of the best decisions I ever made. The place was incredible and perfect. I highly recommend it. The owners are amazing and very relaxing, and the breakfast has an incredible view.
Nice food and room, Very nice onsen facility and view!

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Overated hotel, lack of Customer service, in the midle of nowhere, so if you do not like the Traditional food you will starte, they do not serve fruit or other as part of good service
I'm very happy I chose Onyado Yui no Sho. I got more than I expected. I loved the kaiseki dinner and their set breakfast.
I was surprised at how spacious the room was. Their service was excellent, and the amenities were great.
All the staffs were so attentive, helpful, accommodating and respectful. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommendable for tourists who want to visit Shirakawa-go😍
Wondering ryokan with delicious and beautiful meals. The staff is nice and a shuttle to go to Shirakawa-go historical site. They even remove the accumulated snow on your car
The staff were very kind & the hotel was very clean. The dinner I got served with my stay was amazing! The private bath house was also very nice. A lot of amenities provided. Free tea, ramen, etc. Be aware that the hotel is a far (about 30 minute) walk from the bus station and about 40 from the village. There are shuttle busses that will take you there, but they are small & only run at certain times. Plan ahead accordingly (I did not, which was my own fault.)
We had a lovely 2 night stay at Onyado
Yuinoshou In Shirakawa. Room was amazing and the experience of a private outdoor spa. Also wearing no shoes & Yukata was a lovely experience. Amazing to be only 5 mins drive to Shirawawa go heritage village.
Staff take great care of you. Definitely do the onsite dinner and breakfast, not just because they are excellent, but also because there are almost no other restaurants for dinner in the area.
I highly recommend their breakfast. It was a harmonious experience with local food and ambience using all of our five senses.
Beautiful place, friendly staff and relaxing hot springs!!! ❤️
