"The ANA in Matsuyama has a phenomenal location, nice sized rooms, and wonderful staff. They have an amazing breakfast on the top floor with a view of Matsuyama castle. The top floor bar is a great place to end the day of activities."

The location was very convenient to the JR train station and I appreciated that it was a little removed from the busy streets, and I sensed that the hotel is about to embark on some renovations. "This is a newer hotel right next to the iconic Dogo Onsen building. Super easy to don a yukata (included use with room) and go to the Dogo original which has been recently restored to it’s prior glory, and the Dogo annex which features a cool projection system to bring the bath tile murals to life. Breakfast is a wonderful Japanese menu served at the sushi restaurant on the first floor. With the street car station, both Dogo and the rest of what Matsuyama has to offer is within reach. "
