"The resort at Sand and Sky was as gorgeous as the photos. We had the view of coconut trees and the beach right in front of our windows, so we enjoyed our continental breakfast either in our room with the view, or on the beach. It's a great experience to enjoy nature but in a comfortable, luxurious casita. The resort is quiet, peaceful, and best of all, the owner Ronna was an amazing host. She cared a lot about whether we had everything we needed, whether our room was comfortable, and always checked on us to see how we were doing, how our tours went. The resort is quite north on the island and it gets completely dark by around 6 pm. So be prepared to either have an early dinner and drive back by 6 pm (it's about 45-60 min to drive from the resort to downtown San Pedro on golf cart), or be ok to drive the golf cart in the dark on bumpy gravel roads. I'd recommend Sand & Sky to anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful getaway!"

"I spent a week at Belizean Shores to celebrate a milestone birthday and it was everything I was hoping for. I loved how clean and spacious the suites were with lots of room to spread out and relax. It was great to be just steps from the beach and the fabulous pool with the swim-up bar, relaxing hot tub, and the comfy lounge beds. The staff was incredibly welcoming and responsive and promptly took care of anything we needed. Note that it is located on the northern part of the island where there aren’t many amenities so you’ll need to drive about 20 minutes to get to town but this didn’t bother us much and we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely book here again if we come back. "
