"We stayed at Old House for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The 1‑bedroom suite was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a full kitchen, two TVs, and a balcony. The lobby barista machine, fresh apples, and afternoon cookies were a great touch. Locals Restaurant was excellent, and the hotel grounds, river trails, and nearby parks made the stay even better."
"My husband and I thought the hotel itself was a great little place to stay. The rooms are extremely clean and amenities were great. We did use the outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Had breakfast in the café next morning, which was excellent. Also having an upscale coffee machine that made lattes, cappuccino, etc., was awesome.!!
As we were travelling from Campbell River and going to Bamfield it was a nice break.
We will definitely be returning!!"
"Was an excellent stay for us ... but for one issue ... one of the two rooms we rented did not have enough hot water for a shower in the evening. We rented a suite which had a separate bedroom and was excellent for our gathering place."
"We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Resort in Qualicum Beach. It is very family-friendly, and our detached one-bedroom cottage was comfortable and private. We especially enjoyed the firepit, barbecue, and outdoor dining area. The mini golf was a lot of fun, and the outdoor pool and waterslide were a big hit with the kids. It’s a great place for a relaxing family getaway!"
"The Riding fool was perfect for our little family! Comfy beds, very clean facilities, great smelling towels and soaps in the washrooms, excellent common room with games and pool table, great place to meet people…and a place to store and fix our bikes to to it off! Common kitchen area with everything. And in central Cumberland where we could walk to everything. We will definitely be back! But for longer:) Thank you so much!!"
