"it was a perfect location, just a few steps from the High Street and the harbour. Alhough the summer has been unusually warm, the room was breezy in the evening and overnight, and I didn’t need the tower fan that was provided to get a good night’s sleep each of the four nights I stayed. There was tea and coffee and plenty of cold water in the fridge. The clawfoot cast-iron bathtub was wonderful. The host was attentive and responded quickly to my questions."

"Really nice stay. Nice room over looking harbour really comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast. All in all a very nice stay Thank you"

The Lodge at Meyrick Park

"The lodge is a separate building as part of the golf and leisure club. The location is great for Bournemouth, just a ten minute walk to the park and restaurants. We stayed in room 9 which is on the golf club side of the building, very quiet at night, but you are on the ground floor next to where the cars park. It is also on the driveway into the club, so can be noisy in the morning. The rooms at the back face the dual carriageway, so may be noisier at night, but I don't know The room was clean although a little tired, it could do with some TLC on the desk and bedside tables. The staff were great, very helpful. The gym and pool looked fantastic although we did not use them. We had a meal in the bar as we arrived late, staff very accomodating, meal was good but nothing special, but served a purpose. If I went to Bournemouth again, I would happily stay here."
