"Very close (walking distance if not raining) to the old city - allow a good day to cover it all, and this is one of the least commercialised water-towns accessible from Suzhou or Shanghai, but not much else to do there unless you're at a conference etc. that the hotel caters for. Good, comfortable, clean working room with full amenities, nice view of the lake, very good local arts shop in the lobby. "The hotel is very nice. It’s clean. Modern. The breakfast buffet is tasty, but not extensive. The most important thing to know is that the hotel is not within walking distance to the old town area with all the lanterns. That requires a 10 minute car ride. I would have preferred a location right in that area, and it was difficult to figure out as a newcomer. "
