Nice gardens and outdoor area. Semi enclosed and off the road making it quiet and safe. Cottage was large. Shower rose was broken and needed replacing. Need to arrange access 24 hours before arriving which was not in Wotif and only found out after getting confirmation email. Could be there and i didn't see it.

Quiet, friendly, good location, comfortable. Carpets need cleaning. Studio room had portable electric hot plates for cooking but no pots or pans to use on them. We used the outdoor bbq instead. Fridge freezer needs attention.

Quiet and Comfortable but no Wifi

No on site manager. Wifi did not work to our unit but other guests said it did to their unit. When we reported problem next morning the Cleaner/Manager tried to fix but could not. 2 Day stay without Wifi not good.

Hotels.com list this as a pet friendly property and dogs stay free. We took our dog and upon arrival there was a note on the table saying that there was a strict no pets policy. Confusing. No one answered the phone when we called to explain we had a dog. We ended up leaving within an hour and ended up staying at another hotel 2 hour drive away.

This property was superb, the room was very spacious and well appointed with every amenity you needed. It is also very well placed close to Supermarkets Bars and Country club all within a few minutes walk. There was no full oven but that was made up for by a small portable oven, electric frypan and Microwave which catered for our needs. The bed was a little hard for me but each to his own taste. The whole place was very clean and extra pillows, towels etc were all provided. We would not hesitate to recommend the Cottages to anybody and will definitely stay here again.

Quiet hideaway

Enjoyed out stay, had a kitchenette which meant we could prepare a meal and 1st continental breakfast requirements provided, IGA just across the road for any other requirements. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed and bedding, electric blanket. Reception not manned but a phone call gave us a code to enter and worked well.

The single beds in the cottage make a lot of noise, every time my 83 yr old mum moved we hear her in the next room. Othe than that I was a very comfy & well maintained cottage

Arrival info confusing. WE were referred to Shearwater Resort for unit info and keys etc. Resort no longer deals with this. Actual unit was excellent, met all expectations. Good location for getting to Spirit of Tasmania on time in morning.

Clean comfort and has everything you need to cook, bbq facilities and quiet. Great location, only thing found internet was intermittent this time. Have stayed before and would definitely stay here again
