"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. "Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. "We loved staying here. It really had a mix of modern and historical. Felt like a proper English hotel and had a tub in our room!! Hard to find in Europe. There was some construction but it wasn’t impacting our experience and it’s obvious they’re reinvesting in the property and up keep which makes me know I would want to stay there again in years to come.
