"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "I received a friendly welcome. Check in was fast. I had the cosy room with a sea view and it was lovely, everything I needed. Great to have a car park albeit a bit tight!"

"Hotel was clean and central location. Only problem we had was the time it took to check in. The queue was MASSIVE and snaked all around the foyer. Other customers were telling us it took them over an hour to get checked in so we went away and came back two hours later. Other than that it was fine."

"Room was very outdated and small, window was next to a brick wall. But clean, new bathroom, comfortable bed. Good restaurant and bar, but absolute chaos at breakfast due to sheer numbers, but staff were present and helpful maintaining supplies. Parking in surrounding area was easy and cheap. A proper old-fashioned seaside hotel but with modern facilities - excellent value for money."

"I had not realised the hotel rooms are in a separate building to the pub and breakfast area. As a single older woman had I realised this I would not have stayed here as I felt a little bit isolated as should I have had an issue (which thankfully I did not) it felt like there were no staff around once the pub was closed. The room was fine had everything required for one nights stay and was clean and spacious but a lot like many of the budget chain brands. The food in the pub in the evening was ok nothing special and a bit overpriced for what it was but because of the location you are limited for choice so they can charge what they want. Only thing that was excellent was the friendliness of the staff that greet you in the pub as you have to go into the pub to check in they were very welcoming"
