"The hotel itself was clean and well maintained although it did look a little tired. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. The breakfast was average for a 5 star hotel.
I would question the wisdom of showing a live football match next to the restaurant and bar, with the accompanying shouting and jeering for nearly 2 hours. Even the staff were getting annoyed with the mostly non-resident attendees as they flocked to the bar or hurried through the restaurant to have a quick cigarette.
Not what you would expect from a supposed 5 star hotel."
