The closeness of the main visiting attractions was great. The cathedral & real alcazar were very close. Everything was pretty much walking distance. Hotel Goya is a great hotel. Comfortable room. Clean. Very artistic. Lots of paintings & interesting things to look at on the way up or down the stairs. There is a lift as well. Definitely worth a consideration for a stay in Seville.

No frills property. Quiet , great staff and one of the best locations in Sevilla. If you’re expecting the Ritz, you’ll be be disappointed but for what you pay, it’s a gem.

Great location, really great! If you like to wake up early and must have coffee… well, sleep till 8:30- 9:00 and take it from outside- that is the only potential improvement at the propery. With marble or stone floors one might hear every chair moved at the property, but that is not a big deal after walking around Seville whole day and staying late (relax! You do not have to wake up at 5 am to beat the traffic! )

Great location to Cathedral and Alcazar

Great location! Only thing I didn’t like about it is that you needed a key in the wall to make the lights work. It was hard to turn, and this meant that in an emergency, you would have to struggle to get the key out of the lock, then use the keys to unlock your door to escape the room. This does not seem safe and could be easily upgraded with more modern locks. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here.

Dont risk it

The new worst hotel experience of my life! This hotel fails at providing maybe the most important feature of a hotel room: seclusion. The only single window, that gives to the hotel lobby is the cause. As seen in the picture below, a view from inside of the room, the chairs and elevator are in front of the room. The window is not isolated at all (not even a 10€ isolation tape you can get from any hardware store). You hear day and night people, talking, Phone calling, snoring, carrying their luggage right in front of you as if you were in a tent in the lobby. And they can hear you too. Thus you get little sleep or accoustic intimacy. Of course the air flow is bad and the steam from the showers can't escape, making the room smell bad and be way to warm at all times. You can not leave the room with the AC on, since the keys to the room also shut down the power. Of course this is against the spanisch and european regulations simultaneously. (air flow and accoustic) These rooms should not be considered commercial hotel rooms, and nobody should be charged sleeping in them. This review only applies to the room we had on ground floor. P.S. The room is clean and the staff is friendly, but so were probably the 2 cockroaches we found in the room. The location is good though.

Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr sauber. Das ganze Hotel machte einen sehr sauberen, ordentlichen Eindruck. Das Hotel befindet sich am Ende einer touristisch stark frequentierten Straße, die direkt auf die Kathedrale zuführt. Schreck unterhalb des Hotels gibt es eine Tapasbar, die am Abend geöffnet hat. Am Abend kann es daher ein wenig laut sein, nachts ist es aber absolut ruhig. Die Lage ist hervorragend: einfach zur Tür raus, und man ist mitten im Geschehen. Kathedrale, Palast, Restaurants und Bars und Altstadt: alles direkt vor der Tür. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
