Beach Hotels in Seven Mile Beach, George Town

"Aqua Bay Club exceeded our expectations! The check in was not as smooth as we would have liked, because we were arriving on a Saturday (there is no staff on site on weekends) and we had not received an email with check-in instructions so that we could get into our condo. But Expedia helped us get in touch with a staff person who apologized and sent us the information we needed at the last minute while we were at the airport, so that worked out. This being our first time in Cayman, we found the weather to be perfect and the local people to be extremely friendly and welcoming! Once you get used to driving on the left, you find that the driving is very organized, with mainly roundabouts keeping traffic flowing versus the usual stopping and starting with traffic lights. The condo itself is fantastic. We were in condo #5 on the main floor, so we benefited from being able to walk right out from our screened- in porch to the serenity of the pool, the white sandy beach and the surreal turquoise ocean. We missed spring break by a week, so there were only up to a dozen other renters there to share the amenities at any given time. We enjoyed meeting people from all over, who were all equally impressed with the place. The condo owners we met were great, except for one unfriendly and entitled Eastern European who thinks he owns one of the cabanas which people are not supposed to reserve all day without using them. Minus our negative experience with him, everything was absolutely perfect!"
