"All in all a good experience, with one big exception (later below). The property was clean, staff was really great, happy, friendly, great service, and a really good value compared to the other nearby resorts. Restaurant was really good and they have a pool bar. The pool area is really nice. What rubbed me the wrong way, is the political stance that Hilton and especially the Hampton brand. I had 3 TVs in my 2BR suite and none had Fox News, even though it is more popular than any other news service. Rest assured, they had CNN and even Al-Jazerra, but no Fox News. Maybe this sounds nitpicky, but when corporations try to force their politics down your throat, even through subtle tactics like this, it really turns me off. If you want to be "diverse" for an American hotel chain, then be fair to all sides and have all the major networks on. Enough said."

"I had a an extremely pleasant stay at One Canal Point. The advertisement and pictures are spot on. Everything was clean, and well appointed. The host was responsive to communications and efficient. I deem this one of the best stays I’ve experienced that was not consistently in direct contact with staff; meaning we needed absolutely nothing! The location is great and central to most things. I will say that some of the pool chairs need immediate attention/upgrades. However, that is minute compared to the overall satisfaction and experience with One Canal. The beds were super comfy and I appreciate all the dishes available to cook in-home. I will definitely return!! Thank you for an amazing stay!"

"Broken toilet half way through our stay. One outside staff member was very slow on taking orders and was rather unresponsive to trying and getting our order placed. Eventually we got our waters and Nacho's but the tortillas were all very soggy and said it was probably because the staff that delivers the orders took it to the wrong location. We did notify the senior hotel staff members but in the end, it didn't appear things changed with the waitress. She made excuses that it was due to the larger reserved area for a party taking up all of her time. We did notify the supervisor to let him know she needed help but it appeared that didn't happen and we were just offered free drinks from the bar but we declined because we don't drink alcohol. "

"The hotel was mixed: when we arrived, the reception was behind a locked door. We had no idea where to go. Once we found reception, they were nice and helpful. It was clean, the ac worked just fine. You had to cross a major highway to get to the beach. There was a note in the room disclaiming liability for theft, death, injury. So, because they did not assume responsibility for theft, and there was no safe, we did not have the room cleaned. There was no hold bar in the shower nor into the 9 inch pool area. The pool was nice, few there between 10 and one pm but afterward crowded with kids. The hotel was near restaurants. "

"Staff friendly. Hotel clean. Only draw back is beach staff for water sports and rental. Very rude and arrogant. Not the type that make you want to do any booking or activity with them "

"Location was great as it’s walkable to many restaurants, beach, grocery etc. Rooms are spacious with washer / dryer which is great for families. No elevators. Cleanliness to the room was just ok. Found a lot of sand at our arrival and bath tub didn’t look very clean. Pool & tennis court are great. No gym. "
