"After traveling for 48 hrs with no sleep, we reserved for the wrong night, immediately realized our mistake, and within 5 minutes arrived at the hotel and explained our situation. one of gentlemen at this hotel was kind and even helped us book a room elsewhere and encouraged us to request a refund from Hotels.com, which we did. When they called the hotel, they got another person who was present when we arrived who thought he could hold us to the not needed reservation and double book the room....

"It didn't exist and was closed for that last year... If I have been charged I will be even more unhappy. Ebookers would not let me cancel because I spent 97 minutes in Kafkaesque circle where I couldn't cancel till ebookers discussed my cancilation with the hotel. This never happened because the hotel didn't exist. Fair to say I would not recommend ebookers to anybody."
